Forensic HVAC is a registered business name of Decker Imports Pty Ltd (ABN 51 640 338 647), providing independent HVAC and refrigeration technical assessment and reporting services. QBCC Licence No. 15035387.
Forensic HVAC provides independent technical assessment, investigation, and reporting for commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems. Services are based on site observations, testing, equipment condition, operating history, available documentation, and photographic evidence available at the time of assessment.
Forensic HVAC does not provide formal engineering certification or design approval. Ian Decker is a Mechanical Services Consultant, not an RPEQ engineer. Where formal engineering certification or design approval is required, this must be provided by an appropriately qualified engineer. An independent professional assessment of Ian Decker's technical capability has been carried out by an RPEQ.
Reports are based on the information, access, and evidence available at the time of assessment. Findings represent the professional opinion of the consultant based on that evidence. Forensic HVAC does not guarantee outcomes based on its reports and accepts no liability for actions taken or not taken in reliance on them beyond the scope of the engagement.
Forensic HVAC holds Professional Indemnity insurance of $1,000,000 any one claim / $3,000,000 aggregate (current policy period to 16 April 2027).
We treat client information and project details as confidential. We do not publish residential or client names, claim references, or private email addresses from prior reports.
